CoCo Chi Ting Tin [田智婷] is a Cantonese designer and writer from Hong Kong, b. 1996.
Trained as an architect, her work spans between buildings, books, and brands. Through design, research, editorial, and teaching, multimedia explorations focus on bridging East-West, decolonial ecologies, oceanic narratives, and feminist methodologies in Science, Technology, and Society. CoCo has been published in Informa peer-reviewed journal, Harvard GSD’s Pairs 04, Princeton’s Rumor Review, Cornell Journal of Architecture, DISC magazine, amongst others.
She received her post-professional Master of Design Studies from Harvard Graduate School of Design with Distinction and Domain Award and holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Art History from Cornell University. She has worked with international studios, including OMA in Rotterdam, Collective Studio in Hong Kong, Food Architects in New York, etc, on various global projects ranging from cultural and commercial to residential sectors.
CoCo currently lives in NYC and collaborates with 2x4 as a Strategist, is finishing her book on the natures of sanatoria, and will be teaching at Yale University in the Spring 2024 semester.
